Sean is a partner at AdamsMorioka. He has been recognized by every major competition and publication including; Step, Communication Arts, Graphis, AIGA, The Type Directors Club, The British Art Directors Club, and the New York Art Directors Club. A solo exhibition on AdamsMorioka was held at The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Adams has been cited as one of the forty most important people shaping design internationally in the ID40. Sean is the national president and past national board member of AIGA, and past president of AIGA Los Angeles. He is a Fellow of the Aspen Design Conference, and AIGA Fellow. He teaches at Art Center College of Design. Sean is a frequent lecturer and competition judge internationally. Adams is the co-author of Logo Design Workbook, Color Design Workbook, and the upcoming book series, Masters of Design. AdamsMoriokas clients include ABC, Adobe, Gap, Frank Gehry Partners, Mohawk Fine Papers, Nickelodeon, Sundance, Target, USC, and The Walt Disney Company.
Here at AdamsMorioka, over the past ten years, weve made mistakes. Big mistakes. Some were a collision of events that hit like a train wreck. Some were self-produced. All of the mistakes were motivated by fear. When is fear appropriate in design? Are we on the Love Boat, or Voyage of The Damned? How do we know the difference? Where are the lifeboats?

A panel of Orlandos top creatives will be available for casual
one-on-one portfolio reviews with students and professionals
alike. Professionally presented portfolios are required and
laptop portfolios are welcome. This review is open to anyone
and is a $15 additional fee to the event. Please contact
programming@orlando.aiga.org by May 13th. All portfolio
reviewees must arrive by 5:30pm day of event.

Mentorship Program Exhibit
A special case where being covered in spots looks real
good. IN the AIGA Mentor Program, student members and
professional members are matched and collaborate over
four months to encourage creative and professional
growth. SPOT is the culminating event for the program and
the resulting work is the spotlight for the evening. The
winning work is given a $500 scholarship presented by
AIGA Orlando!
