Non-Font Typography, or look out Helvetica here come the green M&Ms with typographer Allan Haley

Fonts are great design tools. But sometimes even if you have an abundance of them there are times when something other than a font may be the right typographic choice. Whether to create graphic impact, set a mood, fashion a visual pun – or just to engage readers like no font can–skillful non-font typography is more than just words on paper.

Attend this presentation and you will see some of the best non-font
typography around, learn why it was the perfect typographic choice and–most important–pump-up your creative arsenal.

*Participate in the dialogue: Submit samples of your own work or work that you find inspirational to be included in the presentation.

Send a jpeg to:

*Win fonts! Registered workshop participants will have the opportunity to win copies of the newest ITC and Monotype typefaces.

*The Type Quiz! Mr. Haley's famous Type Quiz, presented at design and typography events all over the world. Prizes include more fonts and the grand prize font package of 50 Monotype typefaces!
